Pressure is mounting on Anthony Albanese to label the arson attack on the Adass Israel synagogue that happened in Melbourne last week a terrorist attack.
The Prime Minister has personally called the attack an act of terrorism, but has stopped short of officially declaring it as a National act of terrorism.
Josh Frydenberg told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, 'it's just another example of a pattern of behaviour that has actually seen the extremists in our mix be emboldened.'
'Those who hate, those who harm have felt that they have license to carry out their violent and un-Australian activities and that's why I wrote an open letter to the Prime Minister to say enough is enough,' Frydenberg said.
'Anti-Semitism is out of control and the responsibility rests at his door.'
