President Trump has restored the Defense Department’s name to the Department of War. Largely unnoted in the reporting on the rebrand is the fact that we are at war – and it could go fully kinetic at any time.

That’s the conclusion of a riveting webinar conducted last week by our Committee on the Present Danger: China to document the Chinese Communists’ long-running, “unrestricted” and even declared “People’s War” against our country.

This PresentDangerChina.org webinar revealed the extent to which Xi Jinping’s own preparations for a shooting war are being accompanied by those of Russia, North Korea and Iran, whose leaders were in Beijing last week and may well have discussed joint action.

America needs not just a Department of War but a war-footing if we are to counter – and, ultimately prevail in – World War Xi.
