How could they do such a thing! When was the last time you thought that? Maybe it came to mind the moment you heard of a pastor being removed from his position due to sin. Or perhaps right after you hear that somebody at work was fired for improper behavior. But a much better response would be in humility to learn from their mistakes, so we don’t repeat them. Realizing we’re capable of doing the very same thing! Today we’ll set out to learn from the mistakes of the Israelites in Old Testament times. As you’ll see, we struggle with some of the very same issues.
