The backlash from the Supreme Court’s leaked draft opinion to Politico on the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade – which would end federally sanctioned abortion rights – has not been quiet. 

While the draft is not final and published yet, and California Governor Gavin Newson has already vowed to build a “firewall” for abortion rights, outraged people and activists are taking to the streets across the country in protest, including in San Francisco, where Mayor London Breed spoke out.

Mallory Somera spoke with protestors and organizers during an emergency rally and march from the Phillip Burton Federal Building up Market Street.
