At only 16 years old, it’s instantly wild to find out just how talented and diverse the music of soooshimi really is. With the help of RomancePlanet on their newest single, “COME OUT AND PLAY!”, the two have perfectly executed that mid-2000’s MySpace electronic sound. Paired with fierce lyricism and a seriously powerful production, this is easily one of the more memorable songs we’ve heard in quite some time. Of course we’ve got to overwhelmingly recommend everyone give it a listen as soon as possible.

Fresh off the release of their 2nd LP titled Interrobang, we got the special opportunity to link up front man Jacob Betts for a full interview to discuss the record. Made up of college friends Jacob Betts (Lead Vox & Guitar), Hailey Petty (Drums), Jake LaMotte (Bass), and Samuel Overman (Guitar), The American Hotel System are an immensely talented rock band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Delicately mixing together thoughtful lyricism with seemingly infinite sonic elements to their sound, our discussion with Jacob about Interrobang was the perfect background on a record that needed more context.

With so much music headed our way, we just got the opportunity to sit and speak with Lyle Oliver about his most recent release, “Girl Out There”. For those out of the loop, Lyle Oliver is a singer and songwriter that is currently based out of Ontario, Canada. Putting his absolute all into each and every one of his many musical releases, he’s just shared an absolute gem with the world titled “Girl Out There”. Continuing to keep us on our toes for which style he’s going to create, this specific track is a traditional country song that features plenty of pedal steel and sweet lyricism that always paints a picture. Plain and simple, we love it, and we know everyone out there is going to feel the same.

Fresh off the release of his latest piece of musical beauty titled Anti-Valentine, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with JUST RMR all about the EP. Continuing to get his name out there in the Houston music scene, JUST RMR is continuing to further evolutionize his already amazing sound. With Anti-Valentine dropping quite recently around Valentine’s Day, it was only right that we took the time to get into the head of Justin Boyd, the mastermind behind the wonderful music you’re about to hear. Without a doubt, this is a record and a discussion we recommend you do not miss.

Always looking to evolve his sound, Imvnyel has reemerged with his first track of 2022, “Conversations”! Luckily for us, we got the opportunity to sit down for a full interview. Having reviewed his work in the past, Imvnyel (pronounced “Emmanuel”), has served the world another beauty that he’s calling “Conversations”. For this Pittsburgh born and now Berlin-based singer and songwriter, he’s taking his deeply personal life experiences and turning them into heartfelt yet innovative sounding music. We’ve loved everything we’ve heard thus far, so obviously getting to sit with him for a chat was the true cherry on top to the experience.

Fresh off the release of their debut album titled Prayer, we got the wonderful opportunity to sit with collaborators Mark Shveima and John Ruszin to discuss the background of the record. Born in 2020 after the turmoil in the Spring, longtime friends and now musical collaborators Mark Shviema and John Ruszin came together to create the project called Mori Metanoia. Working tirelessly across the world from each other, they’ve finally released their lengthy debut album Prayer to the world. From its inception to the actual release date, the time spent and effort was completely worth it, because we’ve quickly fallen in love with the originality present in this record.

Staying as consistent as ever with his releases, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with Graztopia all about his newest record, Bare Bones in the Attic. Currently based in Long Island, New York, Graztopia is the one man project of singer, songwriter, and looping artist, Dan Graziano. He’s taken his impeccable multi-instrumentalist skills and managed to create yet another feel good record he’s calling Barebones in the Attic. For us, we consider ourselves extremely lucky to have gotten to sit and have a full conversation surrounding the release, what’s next on the horizon, and all the in’s and out’s of his process. Needless to say, this is a piece of music and conversation you’re not going to want to miss.

Fresh off the release of his debut EP titled This is Just a Simple Song, we got the incredible opportunity to sit and speak with Nick Stevens on his solo project, Hyde Park! Sharing his first record since 2009, the solo project of Hyde Park has truly allowed for Nick Stevens to fulfill his musical vision. Spanning 6 total tracks and running right around 20 minutes, the artist immediately transports the listener into his atmospheric world of sound. Says Nick on the background of the record, “This is Just a Simple Song offers a looking glass for anyone seeking to make sense of the most turbulent times in their lives and learn how to adjust accordingly”. We couldn’t agree more with that sentiment and honestly can’t wait for everyone to dig into this EP.

Hot off the release of one of our favorite records of the year, The Search For, we got the opportunity to speak with Confidential all about the background of it. Currently based out Brighton, Confidential wasn’t always the solo artist you’re about to hear today. In fact, he was a paramount part of many other bands, however he’s gone solo and is confidently making some of the best Hip Hop Lo-Fi music we’ve ever heard, seriously. From the mind of George Wakerley comes The Search For, a hefty record that showcases an extreme of talent from start to finish in nearly every facet of the word.

As the band gears up for their sixth official album release, we got the special opportunity to sit down with Jonathan Higgs of Everything Everything to talk about the finer details surrounding RAW DATA FEEL. Always striving to create something new, exotic, or sonically enticing, the music of Everything Everything has continued to evolve so much since their debut Man Alive back in 2010. Fast forward 12 years and they’ve risen the ranks to become one of music’s leading eccentric art rock acts that never put out the same song twice. With the release of RAW DATA FEEL coming on May 20th, 2022, the first single released so far “Bad Friday” is a wonderful glimpse into what old and new listeners can expect on the full record.
