With the release of their debut album Material Flats out on October 9th, we spoke with Tawny Newsome and Bethany Thomas about the recording process, as well as a behind the scenes look on the record.

Fresh off the release of their sophomore album, All Together Now, we spoke with frontman Matt Blach of Beans. If you’re unfamiliar with the band or their music, their debut LP Babble came out back in 2018 and they've officially followed it up with what we’re considering to be our personal album of the year so far. Considering the amount of music that comes our way, we can confidently say that All Together Now holds the number 1 spot at the moment. If you’re a fan of straight forward psychedelic rock with a hefty dose of “glam” to it, look no further, because this album is absolutely for you.

Not long after the release of their newest single and music video for “Mr. Prism”, we got the opportunity to chat with Jack McEwan of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets. If you’re unfamiliar with the music of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, you’ve certainly been missing out. Now’s the perfect time though, because we can only imagine that the follow up to And Now For The Whatchamacallit (2019), PPC is going to be even heavier, a lot more jammier, and equally as fun. While we’re partial to their High Visceral series, there really isn’t a piece of music the band has put out that’s been a disappointment. It’s the type of music that’s perfect for an intense workout, a crowded mosh pit, or even just to put on when you need to blow off some steam.

Ahead of his newest release, we got the unique and special opportunity to chat with Nashville-based artist Carter Hulsey. As a longtime favorite musician of ours, this was a chat we'd been looking forward to for a while. If you’re unfamiliar with Carter’s music, now’s the best time to scan through his impeccable discography as he gears up for what’s to be another fantastic release. While we don’t have an official release date for what’s next, we’re keeping a close eye for when that day may be. In the meantime though, we highly recommend listening to his most recent release Haunt Me (2017), surely you won’t be disappointed.
