Jason is the initiator of hoMEwork, a program that supports formerly incarcerated individuals in the San Diego area develop new skills and seize career opportunities. As an organization, they are trying to create a space for re-entering community members to work on LIFE SKILLS, building strong family support, rebuilding the community, and civic engagement. Jason is trying to find a place in the world of community activism and organizing while battling with A.D.D. 😂

Matthew Edwards is an optical technician, a great public speaker, mentor, and a peer coach. He enjoys outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, boogie boarding, swimming and exercising.

Born and raised in San Diego, Ed is a 3rd year apprentice with the IBEW 569. He is on a mission to make every single day of life count while becoming his best self, defeating his worst self and having a part in helping others do the same.
