Ouija Shark from 2017 (or 2020?) is a bad film. Just miserable in every respect, from poor acting, woeful lighting and filming, and the worst effects ever. Apparently Spielberg was worried about 'Bruce' the shark's effects in Jaws, well these guys did not give a darn. We also discuss recent cinema trips to watch Incendies and The Many Saints of Newark.

Stickfighter from 1994 (or 1997?) is a bad film. Apparently renowned martial artist Kely McClung shambles and smirks his way through this cop revenge movie with awful soundtrack, poor editing and drab scenery. We have a chat about Christopher Nolan's debut feature too.

Abraxas from 1991 is a bad film. Jesse "The Body" Ventura stars in this lacklustre Terminator rip-off, except with totally inappropriate music and shonky effects. Meanwhile enjoy one of the blandest female leads you've ever seen on film and absolutely dreadful invented nouns such as 'co-mater', 'VD', and 'birthing member'. Lovely. Also: we run down some of our favourite worst bits of dialogue.

Samurai Cop from 1991 is a bad film. Actually, saying that, it is an AMAZING film. It's the standard by what bad films should be. It's an important film for us, as it's the film that Jay and I watched that made us say "hey, let's record a podcast about films as bad as this..." so we felt it was a good candidate for our 1st anniversary special. That's right, we've been waffling on for a year. As a variation from the normal theme, we chat along live with the episode as it plays out instead of batching up our thoughts as a conversation. Indulge our stream of consciousness special! Make sure you count along with how many dog-hair similes we come up with.

Plankton from 1994 is a bad film. It's a zero budget monster-chases-the-teenagers-around-a-boat film, you know one of those. It thinks it's Alien, Aliens, The Thing, Airplane! and lots of others while surprisingly being nowhere near as good as any of those. Everyone has dubbed over their own lines, weird voiceovers stalk the cast, and has the worst sense of humour ever.

Sir Michael Caine and Roger Moore star in this abysmal crime caper that fails at everything and reeks of tax dodge. Army of the Dead from 2021 is a bad film. Zack Snyder's latest movie is a great premise flushed down the loo. Dave Batista and Tig Notaro try their best but it's too long, too generic and too badly shot to make a difference. Also we know it's not a film, but continuing last episode's David Fincher chat we talk about Mindhunter too. It's almost a Netflix special episode.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith from 2005 is a bad film. Is this film a bad film with good bits in, or a good film with bad bits in? We don't agree on this. The good is Ian McDiarmid, the relationship of the two Jedi, and the final act generally. The bad is... everything else. But by far the best of the prequel trilogy. Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones from 2002 is a bad film. Star Wars is a big reason why Gary and Jay are friends, and Gary says this is the worst Star Wars film ever.
