We all watched Eternals this week and the question you should be asking us is, did we get it? Like we all know Powers understood the deep beauty and meaning of Eternals, but did the rest of us schlubs get it? Was it too sophisticated for 3/4 of the hosts? Does it deserve its position as the lowest rated and only certified “rotten” MCU movie? We will see. Can I tell you something we all agree on? It’s that Peacemaker is an awesome show and quite possibly the best DCEU product released so far! Do you wanna do you really want to taste it?! Yes, yes you do. Plus The Book of Boba Fett had its best episode yet but there’s NO Boba Fett in sight and we split the crew into two teams and draft what we think will be the highest grossing movies of the year. Did Powers make the mistake of the show by picking 3 of his 5 movies without knowing if they’ll even get released this year?! All I’ll say is that Rog and Pow better get that chapstick ready! On this weeks show we discuss the disastrous return of Michael Myers in what may very well be the worst sequel to Halloween. Plus we watched the romantic comedy Venom Let There Be Carnage. Is there anything sweeter than the symbiotic love of a man and his goo? Which of these two movies were the better follow up to their 2018 counterpart? Hint….It ain’t the Halloween one.
