An entire season of Star Trek: Lower Decks has aired and it was wonderful. Boimler and Mariner have found a place in our hearts already. Also, Andy read "Star Trek Picard: The Last Best Hope" and we really need to talk about what it would have meant to the show.

Sports. Sports. Sports: Baseball, Football, Blaseball. The Peanut God has fallen. And, we have a pineapple problem. Well, we really have a banana problem... with Pizza. Sega's 60th anniversary is over, with some special games to have played. JJ tried a PS3 emulator. And, Andy discovers some sad byproduct of marketing in this era.

The Sports Episode: A discussion of real Baseball drama leads to the inevitable, a crazy wild Blaseball season finale. We discuss the insane design of football in Jon Bois's "20020." And even the sport of Karate gets a nod when Andy binges Cobra Kai. JJ makes a sport out of robbing shopkeepers in Spelunky 2.

A huge slew of Microsoft news: Xbox Series X & S, the payment plan, ZeniMax Media & Bethesda purchase, Game Pass and even dropping Halo: ODST - all inside a week. JJ gets Super Mario 64 running natively on his PC. The Snackening has occurred in Blaseball. And, Michael puts on a clinic in Final Fantasy 12.

We discuss the final 3 episodes of season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery, as well as our initial thoughts on the series as a whole. You take the good, you take the bad, and you take the crazy (!) ending and you've got something pretty unique.

JJ has a heck of a time just getting Control to run, which ends in a fun game. But, that prompts us to chat about the new RTX 30xx series cards coming from nVidia. There were lots of details dropped about the new Xbox's and we also chat about the controversial Nintendo direct, some of us are more positive than others. And, of course, let's talk LEGO's.
