Dale Blasingame is one of only a handful of people who has visited every single state park in Texas. What’s even more remarkable is he accomplished the feat in just over one calendar year. Now he’s a self-proclaimed ambassador for Texas State Parks, and one of the ways he supports the parks he loves is by being a member of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation. Thanks to a partnership with a nonprofit called FlatsWorthy, Texas Game Wardens working in coastal waters near Rockport now have access to a custom-made shallow water skiff that will allow them to better patrol hard-to-reach marshes and bays. FlatsWorthy’s Chuck Naiser championed the cause and the new boat was funded through TPWF’s Gear Up for Game Wardens program.
