Sunday 4th. July 2021: There is no question that all of us have done that which is not for the best. From this viewpoint, all have been sinners because all have fallen short of the Divine Calling. If we have sinned, we have been ignorant of our true nature and because EXPERIENCE was necessary to bring us to ourselves.

SOMETIMES EXPERIENCES ARE NECESSARY TO BRING US TO OURSELVES: In today’s scripture, we see the demonstration of self-condemnation. Self-condemnation represents a theological state of mind which is quite common to all of us. It is one of self-criticism and personal distrust. Luke 15:18-19: Self-condemnation represents a theological state of mind which is quite common to all of us.

A limitation is not a thing, nor an entity; it is a belief:

And he said unto us, My Grace is sufficient for thee: for our strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will we rather a glory in our infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon us.

THE THOUGHT IS EVER FATHER TO THE ACT: The parable of the Prodigal Son represents one of the greatest spiritual lessons in the record of spiritual teaching. It demonstrates that God turns to us as we turn to Him; there is a reciprocal action.

Starting today, we can expect to demonstrate or to have our prayers answered according to our belief and embodiment of that belief. It is said, "To as many as received him, to them gave he the power." We seek to uncover the science of prayer: The essence of the Spirit embodied in it. We find that the nature of the power of prayer is faith and acceptance. In addition to the Law of trust and acceptance, the doctrine of mental equivalents is also a factor.

The Descent of the Spirit means the passing of Spirit into form. It is the particularization of Spirit into many things.

Fear is a Belief in Limitation and a denial that the Divine is the Center and the Source of all good: We must do all in our power to overcome it. "Perfect love casts out fear." That is, confidence overcomes the depression of doubt.

When you operate more in your spiritual self, you work with your faith. There is an energy in the Universe that honours our faith in it; there is a Law in the Universe which exacts the utter­most cent.

When you operate more in your spiritual self, you work with confidence.

The Law of Mind and Spirit must be understood, for it states there is no cap to the Law, but there appear to be restrictions to man’s understanding of it.
