In this episode of Wealth Consciousness, we explore the obstacles to peace and mindfulness in our daily lives and share practical tools for true transformation, finding peace and calm amidst the chaos.

Have you ever found yourself scrolling through your social media feed and suddenly feeling overwhelmed by all the news about the economy, politics, people getting sick, and things like inflation? Do you ever feel like you need a break from the pressure?

If so, take a minute to check in and ask yourself, "where's your head at?" It's a simple question, grammatically incorrect, but an important one. Instead of focusing on all the things that aren’t working around us, let's challenge ourselves to look for the "evidence" for the things that are currently working in our lives and those around us.

Because when we're feeling out of hope and under more pressure, it can affect our relationships, energy levels, work performance, satisfaction, and happiness.

Many of us have been overwhelmed by obstacles to peace in our world, whether it's the media cycles of violence, our community, our home, or the negative self-talk that keeps us from doing the things we love. So, what are the obstacles to you living in peace inside and out? 

It’s true we don’t always have a lot of control in life. Living in peace is an active intention. Living in peace is a contribution to more productive relationships and a more peaceful world. In this episode of  the Wealth Consciousness Podcast, I’d like to share with you an issue that comes up so often with our client members as they first come into our programs. Many times, they ask, why can't I change? Why is it that I still have some weight to lose? Why is it that I still haven't managed some health issues? Why haven’t I built the business I envisioned?

Why is it that it seems so hard to make changes at work or in relationships? Hard-working entrepreneurs that I work with on a daily basis don't need to be told that they need more discipline. The hustle & grind isn’t sustainable, sometimes our thinking can be outdated and just like business processes and rules that need to change as our business grows and scales, we also sometimes need to change the rules and processes in our thinking. 

We invite you to the idea of doing a hard reset. We're going to talk about reset, refocus, and realign. The idea of reset, refocus, and realign is just like updating our apps on our phone, right? We're going to update the story. We are going to move through the tolerations that have been just the stories and limiting beliefs that we've told ourselves about why we don't have what we want. We want to start noticing what helps us to stay true to ourselves, what helps us to move through tolerations and be able to focus on staying on course regarding our goals, both personally and professionally. When we put a stop to our habitual self, our conditioned self, we're able to reset, refocus, and realign, we now have updated the business rules.

We challenge you to change the story, hit the hard reset, tell the story that is actually the ticket, to your end game. In this episode we ask to challenge yourself and ask these questions:

What do you tolerate in your own gap between where you are and where you want to be?

Where are the limiting beliefs in your tolerations? 

What are the daily habits or patterns that either are feeding this toleration or starving it? 

What is the condition self and how can we change the narrative?

What can changing your story do for you?

What would you have to believe to create real change?

Top Five energetic blocks to success and a cognitive behavioral anchor exercise for you to use in an effort to clear out that energetic block. Email us at [email protected] to get the handout that describes the anchor exercise in detail.

#1 Top energetic block: poor boundaries. This is a tough one because if you struggle with poor boundaries, you probably have a hard time knowing what is a healthy boundary.

Poor boundaries come in many sizes. Although whether you struggle with boundaries that are too permeable or too rigid, the consequences may look very similar. The typical feelings that arise from poor boundaries are resentment, nothing is ever good enough, being misunderstood and overworked. 

#2 Top energetic block: focus on lack. The unconscious mind focuses on problems like it or not. Our brains are still working on survival. Our survival has taught us to look for the danger or the risk related to our situation.

#3 Top energetic block: trauma. We live in an imperfect world. Unfortunately, many women and men have suffered from forms of physical, emotional, financial, sexual abuse, or trauma. The mind, body, and spirit are all affected by trauma. We carry it in our body, in our memory, and it wounds our spirit. The effects of trauma can affect a lifetime if not properly addressed. Trauma taints our viewpoint, our story, and our ability to be present to ourselves. The feelings that may arise from trauma are shame, guilt, depression, lack of safety and security, fear and sadness. In the case of trauma, it's best to consult with a professional to begin or continue the process of healing. Give attention to yourself. Create the safety and security needed to be in the practice of healing and ask for help when it's needed.

#4 Top energetic block: rumination. Webster's Dictionary defines rumination in this way; to go over in the mind repeatedly, to chew repeatedly for an extended period. The habit of rumination is usually a sign of high anxiety. When we ruminate, we are typically unaware of the toll that it takes on our energy, our ability to remain in the present moment, and our body's stress response.

#5 Top energetic block: limiting beliefs. We are conditioned by our early childhood experiences which helped us to understand how to create survival beliefs. It all distills down to how to get love and how to not get left from love, whether we're conscious of it or not. We create our beliefs based on our interpretations. Bring awareness to limiting beliefs. When you notice a pattern that triggers unproductive emotions; ask yourself, what does it mean that this happened this way? You may start to be more aware of your limiting beliefs by noticing how certain situations typically go for you. 

How many of these energetic blocks do you experience? Each one of these energetic blocks creates problems and obstacles in our relationships, our relationship to self, others, work, family, and to our overall satisfaction in life.

 Hello and welcome to episode four of the Wealth Consciousness Podcast. Today we're going to talk about cultivating your inner sanctuary and mastering your focus. I'm so grateful for this time to share together. This podcast was born out of the idea that I want to get out of the noise of social media and share some inspiration to your heart.

I am grateful that every day I have the honor to share the entrepreneurial journey of growing and scaling businesses with our client members. It's so much fun for me because I see the evidence daily that personal development, insight and intentional action transforms businesses and lives. I also see the challenge that entrepreneurs have with staying on purpose with focused attention. Most entrepreneurs are self-taught experts at juggling a lot of balls in the air, putting out fires and reacting to incoming demands.

Our thought life is not meant to be a highway, but sometimes it can feel like it. Here's the confusing part. Sometimes you may even feel like the ability to have high speed multiple thoughts is even a part of your personal genius, and maybe it is when you can find your focus and tap into your creative genius.

Most client members tell me that the sweet spot is hard to find and even harder to harness on demand. Instead, they describe a long to-do list that just grows longer and how personal rejuvenation and enough sleep is really hard to find time for.

Most entrepreneurs give me a big eye roll when I ask, how are you cultivating and nurturing your inner sanctuary? Wealth consciousness is a holistic approach to your personal and business growth.

Our wealth is in our health, in our relationships, in our spirituality, and in our finances. These four pillar categories are like the legs to the stool. We need them all equally, or we have none. In my opinion, there's nothing more important than mindset in any of these four areas.

If your thought life feels like a high speed highway, I wanna suggest that by cultivating your inner sanctuary, your mind, body, spirit, you can create the mindset that supports the attitudes and behaviors that help achieve dreams with joy, passion, love, and fulfillment. So here's a few suggestions for cultivating your inner sanctuary and mastering your focus.

I'm going to give you a list to choose from as some may seem more doable or interesting than others to you. First, I want to offer the practice of silence. Number two suggestion is to cultivate your inner sanctuary by journaling gratitude. Number three will be to practice breath work or guided meditation.

In my experience, most entrepreneurs are experts at the life is a highway thought life with speeding rumination and gridlock overthinking. Mastering the focus that it takes to run, scale and grow a business, takes cultivating an inner sanctuary, accessing your creative genius, and mastering your intentional focus. The focus that comes from knowing your heart's desire and taking wise, well-planned action.

Today we're going to talk about the idea of stepping into your purposefulness with more authenticity.  In my experience, entrepreneurs are usually on purpose. They are on purpose in trying to implement goals, more discipline and more efficient tasks and processes. 

I'm going to ask you to do more ‘being’ than doing and try to pay attention to being in your most purposeful self. In other words, there's not something else that you need in this moment. So I want us to take a look at this idea of being more often than doing, and I can assure you that the doing will come with the being.

I'd also like us to take a brief moment to look at contrast. Contrast is always helpful for us as if it's a road sign, a road sign on the highway that lets us know that there's something we need to pay attention to.

Here's the place that I notice that most entrepreneurs get stuck. Do you know what you want? Are you really clear about what you want? Or are you most of the time responding to the conditions or events in your environment? Now, why I want look to underline this for you today, is it's actually quite freeing, the practice of really clarifying, distilling down, knowing exactly what you want.

What is your driving force? What is the place within you that is your compass that says, I'm on the right course. I am moving toward my goals. I am creating an asset, or a relationship, or healthfulness, or my financal impact that meets my heart's desire. So most people find it really helpful to have visuals to help them be reminded of how to stay focused so that all of the efforts that are moving toward our heart's desire.

Be as clear as you can possibly be. Write it down, have icons around you so that you can speak clearly to your truth and your heart's desire, and then support that with staying focused on the state of beingness and the state of mind that helps you to stay on course. And then also notice when you get road signs that remind you that what you are giving your attention to, has taken you off track and has given you contrast so that you can look back and allow yourself to adjust, move back into the state of being that is so clear, so purposeful that everything else falls away the wayside.

Hello, and welcome to episode two of the Wealth Consciousness Podcast. I'm so happy to be with you here today to talk about letting go to grow.  I want to remind you that the thinking that got you here today, is not the thinking that will get you accelerated growth. The urgency is not in our situation, it's not in our surroundings, it's not in some certain condition. It's actually in how we pay attention to shifting our thoughts. So today, we're going to talk about the idea that it's an inside job.

Here's the question I bring to you today, in order to move your attention and intentions, off the habit of rumination and thinking and overthinking about what's not working in your relationships, in your work, in your health, in your spiritual connection in your finances. What would you have to let go of?

The next question is, how is that thing currently serving you, the thing that you give all of your attention to, the thing that's not working for you, that you give your attention to? You wouldn't hold on to it actively if it weren't serving you somehow.

So what did you decide today that you'd have to let go of to grow? What's the limiting belief that keeps you stuck? Paying your attention to everything other than your heart's desire and your one extraordinary life.

I am so excited to be with you here in this moment, for the first episode of Wealth Consciousness, where we will look at the opportunity to uplevel your set point for your wealth both personally and professionally. I want share with you today that this podcast was born out of the idea that I want to inspire you beyond your social media scroll. I want to ignite your heart's desire.

I'm here to speak life to you and inspire you to move more quickly towards fulfilling your heart's desire. You may be thinking, I thought this podcast was about scaling my business and increasing my wealth. It is. 

To scale your business, it's necessary to scale your heart, mind, and soul. Today I want start with the meaning of wealth consciousness.

Our wealth is in our relationships, health, spirituality/community and our impact/ finances. What stands between our current and desired state in these areas? Our thoughts and beliefs. When we challenge those limiting beliefs in whatever area they may arise, we start to notice that our wealth consciousness is reflected in every dimension of our life. So in other words, our limiting beliefs must be addressed in all areas of our lives. But we all have blindspots and the interesting thing about the blind spots that we all have is that they are deep and subtle. We've developed them over time.

Here's the good news. Limiting beliefs are actually just showing us an opportunity to let go of old thinking, old stories, old ideas that no longer serve us. Perhaps they did serve us when we created them, but now they've grown outdated. So each time we bump up against a limiting belief, we have the opportunity now to use that as a road sign.

A road sign that says this is a limiting belief that actually is the way out to the next level in my understanding of wealth consciousness and how to scale my business and my life. An opportunity to scale my thoughts to support exponential growth. 

We can start to see that we have a huge impact on our progress just within our daily thoughts. Our thoughts become our behavior and we can quickly shift those thoughts literally in our next breath.
