it's EPISODE 50!!! The Smashcast crew return for our triumphant 50th episode... where we haven't really prepared at all. Real life is keeping us busy, but we wanted to be sure Episode 50 had all of us on board, so here it is.

Sure, Ant sounds like a Dalek, and Doug's audio takes a second to cut in, and Tony's is a bit hit and miss, but that means after 50 episodes. George has the best sound quality! Huzzah!

In this episode, we look at the latest wrestling news - AEW, WWE to BTSport, and we touch on the tragic passing of UK wrestler Lionheart and pay tribute to him, and the outpouring of support for him and mental health issues. Reach out, folks... you never know when it makes a difference.

In football news - Kieran Tierney leaves Ant a broken man, Wayne Rooney heads to Derby County and much more - PLUS our predictions for the upcoming football season. Who will get "Doug-ed" this year? Sorry Notts County fans...

The return that no one has been waiting for, the SmashCast is back! Well, kinda. We are minus regular host Tony for this episode as we catch up on everything we've missed over the last couple of months.

Stand-in host Ant is joined by Doug and George as the team looks back at our predictions for league winners across the top UK leagues, and a couple of Scottish ones as well. Who managed to get the oldest team in the Football League relegated? Tune in to find out.

We talk about WCW's Clash Of The Champions X, has there ever been golf on the moon and delve into all the latest football and wrestling news. Well, delve is a bit of a strong word. We take a look at it, poke it with a stick and leave it well alone, to be honest.

Our topic of the week is about who was the best ever wrestler never to be a recognized World Champion? Guest Malcolm weighs in with some hot takes in this one, and George's hosting skills are called into question during our regular dose of "DOUG'S GAME DOUG'S GAME YEAH YEAH YEAH".

A huge thank you to our guest Malcolm for spending some time with us, even if he did seem to break Ant at one point in the show. Thanks, masked man!
