Steve had been a supporter of Windsor & Eton from his childhood back in the 1950s, and we discuss his journey from supporter through to becoming chairman in the early 1990s. We discuss the dark times of those relegations and the hard work undertaken to save the club when it encountered those financial challenges back in 1992. We also talk managers and his reappointment of the great Alf Coulton, the appointment of Alan Davies and the manager that was so close to taking over, but sadly got away…

We discuss his time at Stag Meadow, plus his 10+ years at Slough Town, where he played in a number of their big FA Cup runs and managed to score a hat-trick of free kicks in a league game at Dulwich Hamlet!
