Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming to you with the latest forecast for the Gretna area in Louisiana.

Tonight, expect a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures dropping to around 30 degrees. The north wind will be howling at about 15 miles per hour, with gusts potentially reaching 30 miles per hour. Better break out those warm layers!
Thursday brings a gradual clearing. We'll start mostly cloudy in the morning, but things will brighten up. The high will reach near 44 degrees, with north winds between 10 to 15 miles per hour and gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
Thursday night looks mostly clear, with temperatures again dipping to around 30 degrees. The northeast wind will be around 10 miles per hour, with gusts up to 25 miles per hour.
Friday promises to be mostly sunny, warming up to near 47 degrees. The northeast wind will be lighter, around 5 to 10 miles per hour.
As we move into the weekend, Saturday will be partly sunny with a high near 55 degrees. Saturday night brings a 30 percent chance of showers after midnight.
Sunday is looking wet, with showers likely and a high near 56 degrees. We've got a 70 percent chance of precipitation, so don't forget that umbrella!
The good news is Monday through Wednesday look absolutely gorgeous - sunny days with temperatures climbing from the low 60s to a delightful 73 degrees.
