Saturday will be partly sunny and very warm with temperature sin the upper 80s.

Dangerously hot conditions arrive on Sunday with temperatures over 90 and the heat index over 100 degrees at times.

An Extreme Heat Watch means that the combination of heat and humidity could create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses are possible. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time
outside. When possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening.

This weekend will mark the eighth consecutive Saturday or Sunday with at least a trace of rain in New York City.

Showers bring a wet start to our Saturday. It will be cloudy and much cooler with highs about 10 degrees below average.

Saturday is not a total washout, but rain looks steady in the morning and early afternoon before tapering off.

Father's Day is also a little damp with some drizzle under cloudy skies and highs just in the upper 60s.
