Are you in touch with your internal weather system right now? Is it stormy, sunny or maybe a little cloudy? It is good to be aware because there is information in that weather. It's an update to let you know how your thinking is. But this metaphor goes on. It is a beautiful description of human experience. Just like countries of the world we all have our own unique weather system and just like the weather, that system is variable. Just like the sun, our innate wellbeing is always hidden behind the clouds and just like the weather thinking can change naturally without intervention. And once we know this, we can make better decisions, just like choosing to carry an umbrella when the weather is wet. 


But confusion is never more than a thought away. In those moments when we think that weather is coming from somewhere other than our weather front, it looks like there are things to do to correct it. So, just pause and breathe and notice the feeling in your body, the time zone of your thoughts and where you think that weather system is coming from. Because that is all you need to allow the weather front to pass so you can naturally fall back into calm and clarity.
