  • Midwest Snowstorm Tomorrow!! (And MUCH more Including Historical Storm!)
This podcast discusses a major storm system that is currently affecting Wyoming and places nearby bringing historical snowfall. It is also bringing an atmospheric river to Missouri, severe weather outbreak to places in Oklahoma and nearby. Downslope winds produced by this system are responsible for fire hazards in the Texas area. This storm system is going to move east across the Midwest and eventually into the Chicago area. This podcast discussed what affects this storm is going to have in the Colorado Rockies, Wyoming, Nebraska,South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota ,Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and parts of Michigan including Detroit. This podcast also discusses why it is so beautiful right now in the Gulf Coast states. It mentions other weather as well. The main focus of this podcast is this large closed low pressure system bringing historical snows to Wyoming and West Nebraska. We discuss why it is being called a bowling ball. I hope everybody enjoys it!

  • Episode 100 - In Depth Weather Discussion About The Weekend Snowstorm
This episode discusses some of the details about the origins of this probable monster weekend storm. It discusses how the system is in the process of changing and becoming more characteristic of a wobling bowling ball that ends up a strike. In fact I found 2 Nws's that are actually calling it a "bowling ball" low. It discusses at what point this becomes a classic setup to bring heavy snow to Denver and mentions some of the reasons why. It then goes on to speak about how and why this system is unique. It speaks about some of the uncertainties (but not all) that exist that is making it difficult to pinpoint the exact snowfall accumulations and difficult to determine exactly where the heaviest snow will fall. I also make my forecast in an unscientific way, and explain how I arrived at my conclusion. Since it is only because of my audience that a forecast was made and expressed, the word "we" is preferred. If my audience would do a chant to help the storm out, the word we is more justified. In regards to our forecast you will see that when it comes to storms with Gulf moisture we love the number 6, and for each additional variable that will be enhancing the snow the number 6 is added. We start off with a 6 inch base. Our forecast only discusses the large cities that are outside the main mountains. This podcast discusses Denver and Cheyenne, but more of an emphasis on Denver. There is one variable that can enhance snowfall which none of the NWS or articles mention. This variable is included in the forecast. It is this final variable that is of greatest interest to monitor whether it happens or not.
The final couple minutes discuss the affects(effects?) this system might have in Chicago. In this discussion as well there is 1 variable that is not currently included in the NWS forecast discussion. It will be interesting to see whether this variable eventually is included.

  • BOWLING BALL STORM TAKES OVER
There currently is 1 weather event in progress that is historical. There is also an additional weather event that potentially might become historical. There is a 3rd event that's happening in an area that is uncharacteristic for this weather. There are at least another 2 weather headlines of very significant weather that is in the forecast. In addition to the above, there is 1 more piece of weather discussed for this country. All of this is discussed in this podcast.

In addition there are 3 additional parts discussed in regards to Chicago.

This weather podcast includes the following 10 things.

    1. The unseasonable warmth in the Midwest moves East.

    2. A Missouri Rain storm with accumulations similar to a tropical storm.

    3. A Hawaiian rain rally w emailstorm that sounds biblical.

    4. Weather of such beauty in New Orleans (and the rest of the South East) that the NWS of New Orleans says the next few days will be talked about for the next 6 months.

    5. A "Bowling Ball" storm system brings a multi day severe weather outbreak, the first of the season, for 3 major cities.

    6. Bowling ball storm brings a historical snowstorm (but only according to the gfs model) to parts of 2 States including the cities of Denver and Cheyene. In addition up to a foot of snow is possible in Nebraska.

    7. First thunderstorm of the year for Chicago.

    8. Potential significant snow for Chicago next week as the weakening bowling ball slowly wobbles through the area. However, in reality bowling ball systems are not predictable more than a day or 2 out.

    9. Additional topic is the strange contrast between the european model and gfs model.

    10. Unseasonable warmth for Bismarck North Dakota this Shabbos as the Blizzard continues to the SOUTH.

The current 6+ inch snow in the plains is not discussed.

The final 5 minutes of this podcast got erased.
