If I had patients I'd be a doctor...I don't have any patience either in a lot of situations. But I do have patience when it comes to data collection and testing out new products and platforms. And you should too! It may be tempting to ditch something because you aren't getting the result you expected but how much time did you give it? And is it set up properly? Do you get FOMO when you hear of others' successes with products and platforms you don't have? Well, this episode tells you why to have patience and what to do and how to proceed to make informed and educated decisions about trying new products and platforms. You're not going to get real results if you keep changing everything up every week.
By the way, Mistie is not an affiliate for Amy Porterfield or Jenna Kutcher - she only mentioned them as source of reference when researching products and platforms for your business.

In this BONUS episode, Mistie explains how to prepare your Facebook Business Manager for the Apple iOS update coming early Spring 2021. Download the FREE Checklist and follow along.
In case you haven't heard, Apple has announced the release of iOS 14 .5 coming early Spring. That update will generate an opt in screen , the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, when you open apps that use 3rd party website tracking (not just Facebook). It will allow app users to opt out of third party tracking. That means that your Facebook Pixel will not be able to track anyone who opts out, which also means your ads will be impacted. By how much we won't know until it actually happens.
Mistie discusses ten things you can do now, before the update, to prepare. By not doing some of these tasks, you could lose data and your current ads could stop performing. Find out what this Apple update means and how it will affect not only you and your Facebook ads, but also how iOS users will be affected.
Fasten your seatbelts y'all! Take action now!

Google did a core algorithm update on May 4, 2020. What does that mean for your and your website? This podcast covers some basic SEO best practices that you should be doing on your website. Mistie explains what these are, how they work and why they are important. The biggest takeaway of this episode is content!!! You'll hear straight from the Google's mouth about their core updates and what they deem important about your content. This information is important for webmasters as well as small businesses that build and maintain their own websites. If your website traffic has been affected by the core update, you should be able to troubleshoot and get your traffic going in the right direction by doing some or all of the items covered in this podcast. (However, if your website uses black hat SEO or any tactics that violate Google's webmaster guidelines nothing short of stopping those tactics and starting over can even begin to help you.) Mistie reads directly from webmasters.googleblog.com's post from August 1, 2019 titled "What webmasters should know about Google's core updates" that expresses how important content is to SEO. If you have a website from a drag and drop builder, this episode can help you structure your content to be better indexed. If you are a little more advanced with some knowledge of coding, this episode will explain some backend code you can add to help with indexing. The information in this podcast will not get your website on the first page and first spot of search engine search results but it will help you to be more strategic about your content and that may help you to get more website traffic. No guarantees!! Just best practices. As usual, if you have any questions, please leave a message by clicking on the link below or email [email protected] or visit our website at https://rio-llc.com and send a message through FaceBook messenger. There's lots of way to get in touch and we love helping and answering questions! Thanks for listening!
