Before launching WazirX and Shardeum, Nischal began his entrepreneurial journey in 2010 with a social media management platform. What started as JustUnfollow later evolved into Crowdfire. At the time, Nischal was a full-time software developer who dedicated weekends and spare hours to building his app. The idea behind it was simple but powerful: help users manage all their social media accounts—like Instagram and Facebook—from a single dashboard. The app struck a chord and grew rapidly, eventually reaching 20 million users.

However, by 2017, major social networks began implementing restrictive policy changes that impacted third-party apps like Crowdfire. This experience opened Nischal’s eyes to the vulnerabilities of building on centralized platforms. As a result, he made a pivotal decision: his future ventures would be built on decentralized infrastructure.
