We go through the results of the three match tournament in Springfield, MO last week for volleyball and look at the in-state opponents coming to Club Swenson this week. The DubCats handled business at the Lizzy on Saturday night, downing the Portland State Vikings with a final score of 43-16. We'll talk about the action and what to take from the first matchup of the conference slate.
Then, we look ahead to this weekend's football action on the road in Beaumont, TX against Lamar University. We try to make sense of Lamar's close loss to FBS Texas State and their handling of SWAC opponent Mississippi Valley State last weekend to see what they might mean for the matchup with the Wildcats.

Our three days in Boise have come and gone with the Wildcats downing Sac State (a green team), but falling in a bitter semi-final battle to eventual champion Montana State. We'll chat about how things went with our man on the ground, Sean Lewis, including some trends he noticed at this year's Big Sky tournament that could bode well for the future of the event in Boise.
