Nashifa Momin, MS CCC-SLP, is a doctoral candidate at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, where she also received her Master of Science degree in Communication Science and Disorders in 2013. She currently works at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and specializes in pediatric feeding and swallowing, primarily in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) and Cardiac Acute Care Unit (CACU). Her expertise lies in caring for infants and children with congenital heart defects/disease. Nashifa is committed to both clinical practice and research and has recently joined the Nursing and Allied Research team at Children’s. She is a member of the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcome Collaborative with a passion for enhancing the long-term developmental outcomes of pediatric cardiac patients. Additionally, Nashifa enjoys serving as a guest lecturer at local universities and presenting at professional conferences.
