State health officials have confirmed 80 of Iowa’s 99 counties declined all or part of their weekly COVID-19 vaccine allocation for next week. IPR Health reporter Natalie Krebs explains that this marks a rapid increase from last week when 43 counties declined their full allocation. The Iowa House unanimously passed a bill Tuesday making it a crime to provide false reproductive material during fertility treatments. It stems from cases of people discovering through ancestry websites that they’re not the biological children of their parents.
