Filing for municipal office opened on Tuesday and the field is growing. We’ll hear about who’s filed so far up until 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Alaska Marine Highway should see three new ferries within the next four years, and two swimmers successfully crossed a seven mile stretch of Frederick Sound near Petersburg.
