AEW emanates from the Cathedral of Lucha Libre once again for Grand Slam Mexico! Last year was such a success they were bound to do it again, but this time they brought the build to All In! And what's a big show without a surprise guest? Erika is out this week, but tagged in Hamptercero to rev up the Fake Fights Cozy Coupe while Ella recruited Kat from Chatter Machine to be our Third Man (gender neutral) this week! AEW in Arena Mexico does not disappoint and they seemed intent on outdoing last year's show with big returns, bloody matches, and high stakes title matches! Also, your standard fare of wild digressions into topics that are maybe tangentially related to pro wrestling but not really.

Redemption is in the book and the latest episode of AEW Dynamite hit the pedal to the metal into the final stretch toward All In in London! And they really did manage to find an extra gear in front of a red hot Detroit crowd with a night of new champions, hot matches, and high stakes laid out. Andrade defended his newly won National Championship in a triple threat, Maya World put her TBS title on the line against, Persephone, Komander challenged a now Ospreay-less Jon Moxley, and the Conglomeration clashed with The Demand over the Trios Titles! Plus, we had two excellent segments setting up the now official Men's and Women's World Title matches at Wembly. Willow in particular made us all cry with the best promo segment of the year. Plus, all our usual nonsense digressions and the real stuff you all come here for!

That's for us to decide and you to also decide and form your own opinion on. But if you want to know what we think, here's an entire episode of our podcast to check out. Kevin Knight defended his TNT Championship ahead of his Men's World Title challenge, while Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, and Jon Moxley formed an unlikely all-star team to take on the Don Callis Family! Also, Divine Dominion vs. Sisters of Sin in a No DQ match, The Bang Bang Gang has a challenge for The Dogs, Willow and Thekla have their face-to-face and Brodido throw down against ProtOkada. All this, plus, detachable gimmicks!

We're in Boston this week which probably means Vintage CEO Time(tm) in the main event! Willow teams with Maya World and Hyan to battle Mercedes Mone and Divine Dominion in what could be previews for future title feuds down the line. Even if not, we love to see the women main event a Dynamite. Elsewhere, Kevin Knight thinks MJF's promises to him transfer to Kenny Omega, Darby sounds a lot like Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia try bringing the Men's Tag Titles to the Death Riders, and Andrade fights Jake Doyle for a shot at the National Title! A fun episode, to be sure. Plus, the origin story of Tommy Chompers is revealed in Cryptid of the Week and we have a suggestion for a tattoo Darby can get.

Lighting the fuse for fun and profit, but it's mostly for fun because there's zero profit in this. Let's go!

Dynamite hits the beach with an episode that completely shakes up the landscape of AEW just over a month away from All In. Kenny Omega bets it all on one last shot at MJF's Men's World Title with The Stip hanging over his head if he loses. Former friends clash as Konosuke Takeshita defends the International Title against Kyle Fletcher. Ciampa and Jericho clash in a battle of two dudes who are certainly guys. And the first match for Redemption is set in a Women's Casino Gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for Thekla's Women's World Title. Also, Mick Foley appears, Darby continues planting explosives everywhere, Andrade is overdressed for Florida, and Hampter leaves us all speechless. Don't forget to take hydrations breaks with this one, folks.

Forbidden Door is in the books but there's still time for Redemption before AEW reached Wembly! Will Ospreay punched his ticket to the All In main event and gets the bonus reward of finally becoming a Death Rider. Aw, how sweet. MJF has to deal with the challenge of Mark Briscoe after they did their Squared Circle Cage Match at the PPV, while Kenny Omega is seeking another chance to get himself back into World Title contention. Elsewhere, the first Survival of the Fittest match took place outside of Ring of Honor to fill the vacant TBS Title, Jay White announced his plans following his return to AEW, Andrade suffered the wrath of Don Callis for his rebellion, and Kevin Knight defended his TNT Title against Lio Rush! And hey just do you know, this is the one year anniversary of the show! Did we do anything special to celebrate? Of course not.

The road to Forbidden Door rolls on through Houston-adjacent Texas with a show that we might classify somewhere in the good to weird range. Mostly good, but deeply weird in parts. Mercedes Mone and Hazuki had the match of the Owen Tournament for a place in the finals, Mark Briscoe and MJF choose their teams for the big cage match, and Brodido rides again against the Death Riders! Plus, Cope and Cage are grump old men, Kenny Omega squishes Tony Nese, everyone is pissed at Kevin Knight, and Ospreay makes us think about his... you know what I'll leave that out of the preview. Also, Hamptercero makes a blood sacrifice and we bring back the body horror.

It's the first night of AEW's Summer Blockbuster in Cincinnati and while this past episode started out a little slow, the actual matches were about as good as you could hope from a named Dynamite! Ciampa and Jericho get serious, Kevin Knight continues making friends, and Mark Briscoe challenges MJF to actually find some friends! Briscoe also fought PAC in a great little back and forth match, Maya World stepped into the Women's Owen Tournament for an injured Sareee, and Orange Cassidy and Andrade have a simply delightful and sexy little TV match. ALSO! Shane Taylor challenged Jon Moxley as the war between Shane Taylor Promotions and The Death Riders rolls on and the finals for the Men's Owen Tournament are set as Swerve and Brody King do battle once again! Plus, we talk about old movies again and Hampter reveals ancient secrets for Pride month.

Happy Pride! We're back covering the first Dynamite of June and the first one in a couple weeks that was under three hours long! The match quality remains high as MJF defended his title against Rush in a no count outs match, Lio Rush whispered the secrets of the universe to Mark Briscoe, Mercedes Mone returned as the wild card in the Women's Owen to clash with Alex Windsor, and Mark Davis stress tested Will Ospreay's neck like never before in a Men's Owen semifinal match up. Plus! Mark Briscoe really hate MJF, further seeds are planted for Andrade's future Men's World Championship challenge, JetSpeed explodes, and Jon Moxley is trying to find the guy who started all this faction warfare.

Double of Nothing is in the books, we have a new Men's World Champion, AND WE'VE GONE MAD. Also, it was another three hour Dynallision and there's been an awful lot of them lately, huh? That aside, we all had a blast with this week's episode! AEW hits Philly and gives us a big Lights Out Street Fight between Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander in the main event. Also, The Men's Owen Hart Tournament quarterfinals wrapped up with two hard hitting matches, MJF has challengers lining up already, Jericho and Ricochet clashed again, and we had a wild Superstation Showdown Four-Way match. We also have Erika getting conspiracy brained over Toa Liona's hand, Cope and Cage explain disposable cameras in 2026, Hampter's brain can't contain all these zeroes, and we're running out of Metal Gear Solid game titles to use for these episodes.

We wanted to let an albatwitch light the fuse this week but it just kept pelting us with apples.
