In this episode we resolve the conflict with the monster trying to assassinate the empress before we move on to more civilized interactions… like backstabbing each other in court and vying for position and distinction in the eyes of the Empress! Yay courtiers!!!

Welcome to the third game session of our Fantasy Flight Games Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) series!  Alex, Kaetlyn, Kolton, and Matt played in this series as Shinjo, Doji, Shiba, and Kakita, and Colin acted as GM.

In this episode the cast and GM are a little scatter brained.  This was edited out as much as possible but the choicest bits were left in for your listening pleasure.  The characters encountered a deadly foe at the Kakita Gempuku ceremony and then had to fight a monster!  Oh and Kakita received a very inelegantly written haiku!

In this episode Shinjo drinks some Crab under the table and gets some spy work done, Doji makes some deals, and Kakita engages in some dubious haiku writing.

Welcome to the first of game session of our Fantasy Flight Games Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) series!  Alex, Kaetlyn, Kolton, and Matt played in this series as Shinjo, Doji, Shiba, and Kakita, and Colin acted as GM.

In this episode we’ll see our players take on the roles of some Ronin who are just trying to make camp for the night but are ambushed by some unlikely foes.  This is a prologue to the events of our actual game and will tie in with events you’ll hear about later on in the publication.  The idea here was that we were going to do a bit more of a cinematic feeling story and this was step one towards trying to bring that experience to the table and to you for your listening pleasure!

Welcome to the first of recording session we had of our Fantasy Flight Games Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) series!  Alex, Kaetlyn, Kolton, and Matt joined this series as players and Colin acted as GM.

In this extended episode you’ll hear us decide what kind of game we wanted to play and then do the Game of 20 Questions.  We say “extended session,” but that doesn’t really do the two and a half hours of content justice.  You can feel free to skip this episode if you’d like as we’ll give a basic overview of this information in Session 01 Side A when it releases next Wednesday, but please feel free to enjoy our table chatter and character design process!

Hello!

Today we continue our Magical Fury!  A “Dark” Magical Girls game by Ewen Cluney series.  You’ll hear Alex, Colin, Elspeth, Hillary, Kolton, and Matt playing their magical girls on Side B, the last part of our fifth and final recording session for this series, and Kaetlyn will continue her awesome job GMing!  We pick up with the girls as they head back underground to deal with the mess they made with the Nail Seal and are confronted by a terrible and dark force protecting it.

The Pun’O’Meter drops down to a 2 for this episode, but we still had a lot of fun and made some good jokes during this session, even if they weren’t puns.
