Ben and Tucker discuss how the Patriots are heading on the road to play against the Commanders, the biggest headline of this week is Bo Nix being the starter for the Denver Broncos, very frustrated that Bo Nix is the starting quarterback, jealous that the Broncos answered their question about who will be the starting quarterback for the Broncos, not everybody on the Patriots is on the same page right now, should the Patriots have answered the question about who will be the starting quarterback this week, very frustrated that the Patriots haven’t figured out who their starting quarterback will be, Jerod Mayo on July 26th said that Brissett will be the starting quarterback, are the Patriots being causes with Drake Maye, could Jacody Brissett get cut, Drake Maye looks like the better quarterback, the Patriots are going to be awful.

You can celebrate Labor Day weekend at Old Slater Mill in the great community of Pawtucket RI, with free music, tours, talks, and activities. Returning for its sixth year, the River Bend East Songwriters Festival (Friday, Aug. 30, Saturday, Aug. 31), at Old Slater Mill National Historic Landmark, will highlight some of New England’s top regional songwriting talent. J Michael Graham, creator of the songwriters festival and park partner joins Mark Mello, Park Ranger, Blackstone River Valley NHP to give us some details on this activity filled weekend. National Park Service rangers will provide free specialty tours of Slater Mill in honor of Rhode Island’s rich labor history while you get a history lesson on the progression between Labor Day and folk music, think national treasure, Pete Seeger. There will be a collaboration of songwriters to debut an original composition during the festival. Among the artists performing, Mark Cutler RI Music HOF musician. There will also be an emotional tribute to RI folk songstress, Mary Lee Partington a gifted American singer-songwriter and performer. Feel free to bring your best friend, either human or canine, the latter will have the opportunity to become a "Bark Ranger".

Scott and Nick talk about the big 12 just added 18 teams, don’t think Connecticut would be damaged compared to Syracuse, the UConn Huskies are way better than Syracuse, Syracuse has been bad in football and basketball, if UConn loses who can be the one team in the Big East to step up, hope that UConn doesn’t leave, should Gonzaga be in the Big East.

Scott and Nick have a deep discussion about how the Dolphins drafted a good wide receiver in Waddle they also traded and signed a guy like Tyreek Hill, Robert Kraft needs to look at the Dolphins and invest on the team a little more, Patriots need to spend money on elite talent, Brandon Aiyuk dint want to come to New England, what is Aiyuk looking for right now, thought he might go to Pittsburgh, good thing that the Niners are a good team, the Patriots have eliminated distractions this offseason, with trading Judon and letting go of the Brandon Aiyuk situation, the Patriots will have a top five pick after this season, with the offseason next year the Patriots will spend it on elite wide receiver and top offensive line man, Aaron Rodgers has been the talking point around the NFL right now, a lot of people of really high the Jets right now because of Aaron Rodgers, not so sure people should expect Rodgers to be like himself when he used to be in Green Bay, will Aaron Rodgers scramble around in the pocket like he used to do for the Packers,  the Jets have really good talent around them.

Scott and Nick discuss about Jayden Daniels will be the starter for the Commanders, Caleb Williams will be the starter for the Bears, believe in the more reps that Maye gets the better he will be a quarterback, Tua was very critical with Brian Flores, Flores had a press conference after what Tua said about him, and players started to love Flores to back him up, can't believe that Tua said stuff about Flores like that, hopefully the Patriots can find an offensive weapon and a good offensive line.

Scott and Nick discuss how One man can carry an entire station, the Greg hill show is amazing, Felgar drives the bus for his station, would have put Adam Jones in the evening, red sox got smacked by the Diamondbacks, the Red Sox aren’t good on Friday nights, and they aren’t good in series openers, disappointing start by Bello, Bello is not the Ace for the Red Sox, how many starts does Bello have where he gives up a lot of runs in the first and second innings, Bello could be like Pedro Martinez, Bello is a four or five starter at best, Bello error at first base and he chucked the ball over to first base, the Red Sox are 3 and ½ games behind the Twin for the third wildcard spot.

Meter and the Coach discuss about the Patriots and Commanders play tonight at 8 pm, more reps for Drake Maye tonight, does the play calling really matter for Maye, Van Pelt can be that good offensive coach, the Patriots need help on offensive, if the Patriots bench Maye they will ruin him, Mac jones looked decent as a rookie, Mac Jones has been looking good at Jacksonville, bring Drake Maye along slowly, give Patriots fans hope this year, much more hope with watching Maye than Jacoby, Patriots should have signed someone else than Jacoby, the Patriots don’t have any weapons or offensive line.
