Week 15 in the NLL just threw gasoline on an already insane playoff race.
If you thought the standings were tight before this weekend… forget it. The middle of the league just turned into complete chaos.Teams fighting for playoff spots picked up massive wins, while others dropped games they absolutely couldn’t afford to lose. And now the difference between a home playoff game and missing the playoffs entirely feels like it’s about two wins.
Offensively, this weekend was wild. Big runs, momentum swings, and games that completely flipped in a matter of minutes. A couple teams looked like contenders one quarter… and completely lost control the next. Individual performances also stole the show. We’re at the point of the season where stars start separating themselves, and a few guys are beginning to make real noise in the MVP conversation.
And the timing of all this? Perfect chaos. Because the NLL trade deadline is right around the corner. Front offices just watched Week 15 and now have to decide:
Are we buyers, pushing for a playoff run?
Or are we sellers, admitting this season might not be it?
One thing is certain after Week 15.
The March to May stretch is officially here… and the NLL standings just became an absolute war.
