It’s Mother’s Day and we felt it was only appropriate to pay tribute to our mothers and the amazing women in our lives. President Russell M. Nelson, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints has said:

“No one can duplicate the influence of a mother. … Anytime I use the word mother, I am not talking only about women who have given birth or adopted children in this life. I am speaking about all of our Heavenly Parents’ adult daughters. Every woman is a mother by virtue of her eternal divine destiny.”

While Meredith, Kellie and I are all lucky to have a biological mother living that we are close to and can lean on, we have all been influenced by the love and nurturing and example of women around us.
