Week 25: Table Top Belief

It's been 11 weeks since we last recorded together in the same room. As we focus on the next 27 weeks, we decided to pivot a little to what will work best for us. In the first half of the year we have gained better insight into what best for us for goal setting and are customizing to what will help us be successful. We want to set ourselves up for success so that when the time comes that we aren’t recording every week we have set habits of reflecting consistently and improving ourselves to achieve goals.

Meredith found this great quote from her Jorge Cruise wonder book:
“Think of your belief as a tabletop and the legs of the table as the references that support the tabletop. For example, if you believe that you are smart (tabletop) you have references which are the legs that support your belief. Maybe people have told you that you are smart, you have many smart friends, and you enjoy doing smart activities such as reading and attending seminars.”
