He joins the program to discuss the legislation that has been heavily opposed by Gwinnett County commissioners.
Lastly, NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday host Ayesha Rascoe discusses her new book, “HBCU Made: A Celebration of the Black College Experience.” The book is a collection of essays from alumni of historically Black colleges and universities, and how these schools shaped their lives.
