Well hello, friend!

This week was SUPER busy. Thankfully, not due to work. Just the fun stuff! Hahahaha... But this means that I barely had any time to work on Weekly Beats this week, too. So with 1h15min to spare before the deadline, I dug into my SD card and found a project that was about 80% done - most of the melodic and foundational elements were there, but I still needed to complete a few unfinished ideas. So I worked on that for a bit to the point where I felt comfortable calling it an actual song. However, I still feel this is a bit raw, especially in terms of the lack of sonic variety and, most importantly, the transitions from one section to the next. I wanted to have worked on those transitions a bit more to bring more life to them instead of have them just happen abruptly.

But alas, the beats must flow weekly. So this one is done for now.

I think I actually might come back to this one later in this year and have a remix/updated version because it's just so fun.

Also, I think this might be somewhat of a spiritual successor to Ice Cream Rainbow. I don't know why, but something about the major scale/mode used in the song makes me thing of happy upbeat things, and few things make me happier than ice cream, hahahaha... Where are all my mint chocolate chip homies at?
