As we continue through chapter one of the Gospel according to John, we come across two interesting things. First, why is it that the Jews ask if John the Baptist is Elijah? And second, why does John say that he is not Elijah and in other parts of Scripture, Jesus says that John the Baptist was Elijah? Is this is an apparent sign that some prophecies were added later and they happened to miss this one? Or is it a sign that Scripture contradicts itself and is not trustworthy? This week, we will explore John the Baptist's fulfillment of prophetic Scriptures and his role in heralding the coming messiah. This is an episode you won't want to miss!
