Looking forward to prioritizing just a bit more time to beating and extracting in coming weeks, multiple sessions spread out in a week would be great. This week I played three live songs with three different groups, so I did get a good amount of music output through my system this week and very happy with the week overall.
As of submission time, I can hear the mix isn't great, but I got stuck in circles trying to fix it, seems I'm too biased and fatigued to fix it effectively. Seems like everything is too loud in its own way but can't articulate it beyond that or seem to be able to make it better atm, my ears need to rest. Comparing it to other tracks, it seems okay but I'm a little fatigued and don't think other tracks sound great either. I may have been producing at too loud of a volume and/or just had too much aural dosage over the week. Also the vocal has plenty of pitch, emotional delivery, volume consistency, etc. issues that I can hear but calling it done for the day. Sunday 4hr morning slugfest: check!
