This week I started watching Formula 1: Drive to Survive and was inspired by Sferro's new track Mental Stack to try and make a song that would fit a racing game. I had a few different renditions of "racing music" but a lot of the earlier ones felt very flat and basic. Got some bad news at the end of the week, and was a bit out of it for a few days; but was able to pull the track together at the end. Continuing the theme, my friend invited me to go go-karting today (02/15) and I managed to get a pic that I could use as cover art. Adding the F1 car sound is maybe too on-the-nose for this kind of track... but I did it anyway 😅. Overall it isn't exactly the most complicated or interesting track, but I think it works well.
