You hear a dull thumping coming from the chamber above. Determined to meet the wizard you cautiously work your way up the staircase. You pause at the door, trying to divine what that unearthly racket is beyond the threshold. As you open the door all noise stops. The air snaps still. A robed man, beard down to his knees, covered in bronze medallions stares at you. "A customer!" he cries. The noise resumes, the drums pound, a screeching like you've never heard fills the air. The wizard gyrates as if under a spell, or perhaps he is casting one?
