We hit the make-shift quarter pole of the Texas High School Football Season with Week Three. District 16-5A Division 1 has had its first week of district play and there are some surprises in the standings after Week Two.

In the 5th Quarter Segment, ADB connects with 956Prep's Jake Berry with an extended segment discussing the remaining unbeatens (and how many of them are from the same 6A district. 

The duo will also discuss the Week Three match-ups including the big games between Brownsville Veterans and Mission Veterans and McAllen Memorial vs. Edinburg Vela

This week's 1-on-1 guest is ADB's longtime friend and PSJA Southwest Head Coach Mike Evans. In the Coaching Corner segment Evans talks about growing up in a football family as the son of longtime RGV head coach Dave Evans, picking up a signature win for his program last season in Brownsville against his father, and about his nerd-like tendencies and infatuation with things like poker, backgammon and Star Wars.
