Weekend Message

Welcome to #SundaysatTCAB! Pastor Jeff Ponder began the Pray First series last week. Together we are committing to be intentional in carving out and protecting time each day to get in the Lord's presence. We learned that the more we KNOW God, the better we will know ourselves. Today, we will dive into the topic of fasting. When Jesus taught about fasting, he didn't say, "if" you fast, he said, "when" you fast. So we can conclude it is important and should be part of our walk with the Lord. Let's study this topic together and discover all the Lord has for us through fasting.

Welcome to #SundaysatTCAB and the first Sunday of 2025! We are excited to begin a new sermon series today, Pray First. Pastor Jeff Ponder will unpack the principle of beginning each day with conversation with the Father as well as turning to Him first in all circumstances. The Lord doesn't want to be our last resort. He wants us to think of Him first and always run to Him first. What a great way to start a new year - seeking the Lord first in all circumstances.

Welcome to #SundaysatTCAB! Pastor Jeff wraps up our fall study in James today. In the spirit of thanksgiving, we look at a very important reminder from the Lord. Scripture plainly teaches the importance of giving thanks. Let's unpack this today and not miss what the Lord has for each of us.

Welcome to #SundaysatTCAB! Today we move into the third chapter of James and look at the most powerful part of ourselves, the tongue. How can something so small be so powerful? Scripture teaches that life and death are in the power of the tongue. That's a lot of power. Pastor Jeff Ponder unpacks this passage in James to help us understand the only way to truly control our tongues.

Welcome to #SundaysatTCAB! Pastor Jeff Ponder continues teaching from the book of James today. Scripture teaches that God requires faith. That faith begins at salvation and continues to grow as we walk with Christ. The evidence of that faith is displayed by my actions. Do my actions prove that I have faith in Jesus? Let's examine that today.
