Dr. Klapper talks about one of his heroes, Jack LaLane. He was a television fitness guru who worked well into his later decades. Everyone in society and the media thought his ideas were too radical and labeled him a "crackpot". Dr. Klapper explains his opinion that all geniuses are first called "crazy". Radical ideas are met with doubt and trepidation before they are accepted mainstream. Surfer Sally Saenger is a fitness guru and helps people to embrace the process of aging through diet and exercise. She grew up in Santa Barbara with a family that emphasized fitness.

Dr. Klapper speaks about Michelangelo's creation of St. Peter's and the Sistine Chapel when he was 70 years old. The theme for today is how people can start something new at a very late age. Michelangelo was handed a mess from the previous architect when he took over St. Peter's and was not experienced in architecture. At the age of 70, Michelangelo developed many innovations that developed due to the architectural challenge of such a large project. Dr Klapper takes callers from listeners and helps them with some diagnoses and Klapper-Vision. Dr. Klapper also discusses many current artists that remain performing despite their age: Mick Jagger, Neil Diamond, Willie Nelson, and Paul McCartney.
