The story of Lazarus is perhaps the most famous of all the resurrection stories. Jesus was extremely close with Lazarus and his sisters which makes it extremely interesting that Jesus intentionally did nothing to help Lazarus while he was sick. In week two of this series we will examine why Jesus didn’t show up to see Lazarus when he was sick in bed but waited to see Lazarus when he was buried and how living again sometimes requires resurrection and release.
