Focus Scripture: Matthew 7: 1-6

This month, we are cruising into the depths of Matthew Chapter 7. This week, we'll be focusing on the first six verses. I hope you enjoy this experience as the Lord is speaking to us strongly in these last days.

Who will take vengeance for us? God takes vengeance. It's our duty to stand against injustice. However, it's not our right to take matters into our own hands, which results in deeper issues. God will vindicate for us in these times. Trust in His timing. The victory is on the other side.

Focus Scripture: Acts 5:1-11

Many times we tend to think God is merciful, gentle and generous. However, we forgot about the jealousy and wrath side of His personality too. We need to remember to be obedient and serve God wholeheartedly. Serve Him with all honesty and assurance, you will see the benefits of trusting the Don himself.

We have good leadership in certain aspects of our country and by extension the world. However bad leadership outweighs the efforts of those who seek to make an impression towards their perspective of cultivating a flourishing environment. Leadership is a broad topic, however we have to start somewhere. Aiding me in this discussion were Daniel Dodd, the head of Kingdom Ambassadors Jamaica alongside with Romario, a member of that same christian organization. The focus was more in particular about leadership in the church.

Focus Scripture: Psalm 62:5-8

Psalm 23 is a powerful scripture. Do we understand when we read or recite this powerful declaration? Be assured by this word today. The Lord is your Shepherd. He never leaves nor forsakes you.

We have to be aware of our surroundings. Living in a life of delusion causes us to be completely lose sight of our purpose here as Christians. The devil is working overnight, while some Christians are letting things slide with no urgency to apply the fundamentals(prayer, fasting etc.). As wickedness increases, our effervescence to take our nation and world for God should increase. It all starts in our homes, watching our families, then our communities, work spaces, schools. Watch your back and other backs too because you'll never know the importance of that moment could be a life saver.

Two years into the pandemic, where are we as individuals? Are we dwindling in the circumstances amongst our surroundings? Is it that we've buried the promises that God placed in our hearts which will bring impact for incoming generations? With all that's unfolding in our eyes, we need to thrive. Just like the set of Israelites who've returned after 70 years in Babylonian exile to rebuild God's temple, they completed in spite of the officials and kings who disregarded their motives based on their past history. What God has ordained, no one can abort the mission.   

THRIVE IN THIS SEASON!!!

For the rest of March, the focus will be honouring some women in the Bible who played a vital role in setting an example for Christian women today.  Deborah will be the main focus of this video. Let's show some to the women around us, because we know for sure they are certified, virtuous women.

This is a prayer for the ongoing crisis between Russia and Ukraine. We're in turbulent times. However, it's our duty to intercede for the citizens and immigrants who are terrified, distraught, clueless and indecisive towards their country's and personal future.  Weekly Prayer and Word is in solidarity with the citizens of Ukraine.
