When it comes to the D+ shows, if 6 hours of television at $15-25 mil an episode equates to an approximate 2-2.5 hour movie budget, can you explain where the extra money is spent or saved on each type of production, while each can still have comparable production values?

What’s up Sean and fellow Patrons? Just a thought here. Considering the success with Spider-Man PS4, could Disney/Marvel Studios entice Sony by leveraging an exclusive license of Marvel Characters to Sony Computer Entertainment in exchange for the movie rights to Spider-Man?

We all called BS when Sony first made the excuse that Kevin Feige was too busy to produce another Spider-Man movie, but in hindsight, do you think Disney may have made Feige’s coming promotion known to them for whatever reason when they were negotiating for another Spider-Man movie, and that’s why they made that excuse?

With Kevin Feige assuming duties as Marvel CCO, and Marvel Comics being both genesis and proving ground for the characters & stories that inspire the movies, I feel the comics division may move away from the big, multiple series spanning crossover events and relaunches that have become so prevalent in recent years. It would not surprise me to see a shift in focus to more original ideas and creator driven content in order to fuel the MCU, but also to lure in talent that’s moved on from, or steered clear of, Marvel in the past.

What is the major hesitation for Disney to create an R rated Deadpool film? At one point, someone had to take the leap in comics to create adult themed storylines and characters, so why the worry? Disney has released R rated films before so it shouldn’t be much of a surprise to people.

I’m watching the Dark Crystal series and wondering if you think we could ever see a puppet pop up in an MCU project? Weren’t there rumors of a puppet appearing in Ragnarok? With the warm reception of practical creatures in the recent Dark Crystal and Star Wars projects, do you think a similar effort could work in the MCU, without breaking the aesthetic established by the brilliant VFX work?

I finished Bob Iger’s book a few days ago, and really liked a lot of the behind the scenes information he detailed about the major acquisitions he spearheaded, as well as some of the emergencies he had to deal with, as CEO of Disney. That being said, I was a little surprised that there was no mention at all of the James Gunn situation. Were you surprised and/or disappointed he didn’t reveal a little more of what happened behind the scenes of that situation?

On a related note, if Kevin Feige comes out with a similar autobiography one day, what parts of his career would you hope to learn more about and are there any stories or situations you hope he will shed more light on that the public didn’t get to see, such as the whole James Gunn situation?

Would you be interested in Zemo’s thoughts on the Snap/Blip, since he initiated the Avengers’ schism, which ultimately led to their loss in Infinity War?

Do you think ABC could have a show that fits into the MCU if it covered events during the 5 year gap? This way, they wouldn’t have to worry about pacing to fit with current events in MCU movies, and it gives them 5 years to tell as much story as they want (presumably with the network preferred 22 episodes yearly). As a follow up to this question, do you think Feige and ABC could ever combine to work together and produce a ratings smash hit?
53:38 Michael Weaselboy
Do you think they will use Thor Love and Thunder as a mini Avengers movie similar to Civil War?? Or should they just keep it focuses on Thor and his characters.
55:14 Giuseppe Vicaretti
With Feige being CCO of Marvel now, what are the steps that should be taken for him to have a creative say in the video game aspect of Marvel? He must be already working on the arrangements necessary to take over the video game side, but when do you think we will see those results? I thought he already had insight on the video game side of it, with the announcement of Damage Control, I could be way off, but I'm not sure Sean. Hoping you can clear this up for me.
