    kṛpā-viśeṣaḥ kṛṣṇasya
    svasyām anumito mayā

    TRANSLATION

    Śrī Pṛthā [Kuntī] said: I had no husband to protect me, but Kṛṣṇa always interceded just in time to save me and my sons from calamity. From this I understood that Kṛṣṇa’s mercy on me was special, greater even than His mercy on His mother, Devakī.

    TRANSLATION

    No one is dearer to me than the Supreme Brahman, Kṛṣṇa, with His all-enchanting beautiful form. He has given Himself to me, who have complete faith in Him. He is the reservoir of pure unconditional mercy, the upholder of His word, the best of well-wishing friends, the omnipotent Lord of all.
