Pastor Matt Johnson's sermon today was about the disciples and even people today lacking an understanding about God's Kingdom and about Jesus. Pastor Matt said, though, "We can be sure Jesus knows who we are." He suggested that reading the Bible prayerfully helps answers to become more clear.

Today Pastor Matt Johnson asked Who is in and who is out, when it comes to the ministry of Jesus? Pastor Matt told the congregation that even Jesus had to grow and mature to include all people in his ministry. Matt explained that God's spirit will also guide us to open our hearts to be a hospitable community to all people.

Today Pastor Matt Johnson explained that the Parable of the Sower stresses the importance of listening to Jesus. Some will listen and understand and others will listen but don't want to understand. Matt told us that hearing and understanding is the secret to God's Kingdom.

This week's sermon was a number of testimonial's given by members of the congregation each testifying how Jesus Christ played an important part of their lives.

This Sunday Pastor Matt Johnson continued his sermon series from the book of Mark. He explained that in this passage, Satan was the strong man and Jesus was the thief. Jesus stole the world away from Satan by bringing the Spirit of the living God into people's lives. Pastor Matt ended his sermon with the question, "What is the source of your life?"
