Some drone speedtreasure this week. I was listening through some ambience presets from the recently released zebra3 when i found this interesting sound. just adding notes throughout the jam until it builds this quite intense cluster of sound. hope you like it. :)

I love listening to this type of slow, ambient synth. First time trying to make it work.

This is a collaboration with evanericksonmusic. I started with a sketch, Evan added AMAZING vocaloid singing, vocals chord changes and changed into "a bar of 11/8 and sometimes a bar of 5/16 thrown on at the end of a 4 bar phrase" which almost broke my brain. After that, I added a lead to compliment the singing and some drums then Evan did the chopped vocal and fade out ending.

This was such a fun thing to do and we both had a lot of fun!

It took me 4-5 hours to compose this, without any theme, subject or objective. I improvised on the piano, got a few ideas, completed the piano score and then orchestrated it ! That's... pretty much about it haha

Broke out the guitar this week and noodled around a bit.

Spent about 1 hour putting together the patterns, the chords, the drums and backing track. took another hour to record and chop up some guitar. last hour was me structuring, mixing and copy pasting guitar parts until it was "done". total work time about 1 hours on a Sunday afternoon
