I spent this week playing around trying to trigger parts in Reason live, but I ended up going in circles getting nowhere and almost ran out of time to make a beat. So I abandoned ship and quickly put this short one together the way I normally make tunes.

I bought a Tonverk, because more gear will help me write more music right?

I forced myself to write a track with it for Weeklybeats, but it was quite a frustrating mission, encountered so many bugs and issues in pretty much whatever I tried to do.

So much potential, but it's not solid enough yet. Hopefully the next update will make it more stable and less buggy.

Hoped to do it all in the box, but song mode with pattern mutes was so broken, I had to record multiple takes to avoid bugs and assemble the different sections in a DAW.

But I am happy with the result at least, and I finished a WB, it's been a lil while!

I left this way too late so it's a drone piece tonight.

Trying out some of the ableton synths that I hadn't tried before - there's some fun ones in there for sure!!

Super low effort week. I had another song in mind but I left getting started too late, so I'll try work on that for next week.

Whenever I try a moody 'movie scene' piece, it always feels like I'm copying myself and/or someone else, especially because I go with the first thing that sounds mildly interesting to me, which is usually similar to my other stuff, because I like what I like :|

Ah well, it counts for WB, maybe I need to not give myself such grief for not having high effort submissions every week.

Well, I almost forgot to do a weekend beat, I mean weekly beat, but I was so engrossed with the adventures of Elliot, the millennium tales, wow what a game.

New intro next week, what will it be

Ok so this week was a loooong one. I had the six drones plugged in, the rucci bent time drive, the zoom ms-70cdr and into the Zoom L6 Max. Just twiddlin' knobs.
