  • Week 23 - mzunguko - LIGHT
Well, can't say I am in love with the arrangement (Second mix, still not happy but hey it did get done). My favorite u-he vsts, a couple of Ableton drum racks, a few guitar licks, and some vocals from Vocalfy. Think I am going to fire up some hardware this coming week since my daytime is not fully spoken for anymore.
I hope you all had a great week, wishing you all the best as we ride this storm out.

I welcome all critical feedback. Can relicense if you're interested, just ask.
This is barely a quick sketch made on Polyend Tracker Mini, exported directly from the device. So there's zero mastering on here and the arrangement is pretty barebones. This deserves more work, but that's all I had time for this week.
65 BPM 4/4, C-minor. For this year every cover art is a photo I took. Composed, recorded, and produced in Vancouver BC. No AI used in any part of the process.

Despite not having any time to work on a track until this morning, I think this one turned out okay.
Hope you all enjoy. Let me know what you think down below!

  • Week 23 - Coldsushi - Uzumn
One day I woke up with a melody in my head, so I grabbed the move and recorded my voice humming into it, then used the new autopitcher to tune it to something decent, some days later I remade the melody on the m8 and it came out like this! A bit different from my initial idea but still enjoyable and in the vibes of something more aggro that I wanted to do :)
I remember that sometimes I tried to remake a melody that popped into my head by writing it into ableton or anything and it always got lost in translation because the sound wouldnt be the same and I would drift my attention to something else loosing the initial inspiration, I find that humming it and recording it actually gives me way closer result to what my brain is producing, so I should do that more often!
Thank you so much for passing by and listening!
