  • Week 22 - Tomavatars - Addictions
    Hi folks.
This week, another trip into dubstep. I started this track as an Ableton demo pack for my latest M4L device and thought it would be cool to make it a finished tune. I pretty much like it.
Addictions because yeah, it's hard to get out of these.
    Have a nice week!

  • Week 22 - thawkins - 2026-22
I played this on the MPC1000 and then slowed down the recording by a lot and fixed most of the timing errors.

  • Week 22 - rayjkayj - 73k#0 8347
Kinda was feeling the combined vibes of both the PS1 Ghost in the Shell OST and The Shinri Game 2 (a bizarre Super Famicom quiz game with even more bizarre music).

  • Week 22 - KaZu - Try
    Hi everyone :)
    It’s kind of funny:
I want to make an instrumental track... and somehow it turns into a vocal track.
Then I decide to create a vocal track... and somehow it ends up being instrumental instead.
What do you even call that?
I guess I can’t complain though. I’m still pretty inexperienced when it comes to working with vocals, so every track is another chance to learn something new.
Anyway, here’s my entry for this week. Hope you enjoy it! :)
    Have a nice day
    Cheers
    KaZu
P.S. As always, I’m really grateful for any constructive feedback, opinions, and so on :) And if you have any tips regarding vocals, I’m all ears! :)

  • Week 22 - Jackmsimpson - The Way It Is
New tuning this week - DAEAAE - its pretty jangly with some nice chord voicings utilising open strings. Used a capo...4th fret I think.
A bit more upbeat...I guess. Still in the same sort of wheelhouse of rest of my WB tunes, but that's not a bad thing I suppose.
Continuing using the Safari Pedals plugins - Still enjoying them!
    Enjoy your week!
    Lyrics:
    There's the smoking gun
    Another promise left unsaid
    There goes another one
Like a bullet to the head
The lies still on your breath
The truth is what I bled
    I felt the bullet hit
On the line we feared to tread
    Call me out
    Drag me down
Lock the door on the past that used ti be
This is the way it is, the way that's made for me
    One more day you said
    Then we can start again
    Another payment then
    Our lives start to begin
    Another pound of flesh
To cleanse you of your sin
    Hardly worth the wait
When I know what lies within
    Call me out
    Drag me down
Lock the door on the past that used ti be
This is the way it is, the way that's made for me

  • Week 22 - Leo - How did we survive that, Nietzsche
Spent the weekend celebrating a friend's birthday. At night we sat around the fire swapping stories of stupid stuff we did in our early twenties  -some of which could've gone horribly wrong. Instead we made it out and now we get to sit by the fire at thirty-something years old, laugh at how dumb we were and be really happy to have each other.
All M8, using the GM Drumkit (which I downsampled a couple times and reduced to 8bit) and just a handful of WAVSYNTH instances. Hope you like it!
