Turning down the energy after my last track. That will be a dime a dozen. I want to explore some less in depth, more peaceful sounds for the next bit. Take this all a bit more lax!

I spent a night browsing the international radio and found this cool conversation of a man and woman talking. Also, I love going through recordings of old songs I have had recorded and fitting them into new tracks. The orchestra piece in the background is my own, but I decided to add a few more layers to make it a bit more unique. It is still a sliced up version of my piece, though.

Thought I would do a little video. Honestly, the more I mess around with Final Cut, the more I realize I really want to learn it more in depth! This stuff with some stock footage, overlays, and in time visuals is already so fun to see come together as such an amateur with video.

This year, I seem to be pumping out the looped music, which is fine, I've been pretty focussed on getting some more time spent on the production side of things.

It's a weird one this week!

Too many ideas that probably should've been their own pieces, but as I'm still dealing with the after effects of being sick, it is what it is.  I wanted to make a looping track and try my hand at something Final Fantasy-esque.  Not sure if I am confident I pulled it off entirely, but I definitely intend on trying this sort of concept again another week (a completely different piece, of course). 

Composed mostly in M8 Tracker, then transferred over to Logic Pro X because I wanted to use my Midi keyboard for the chords.
